Island Travel — Private & Group Transfers in Zakynthos

Island Travel is a trusted transportation provider based in Zakynthos, offering reliable airport transfers, group travel, executive transport and wedding-day logistics across the island. When they came to The Creators, their existing booking flow was costing them conversions: international visitors were dropping off before completing reservations, and the team was spending hours manually confirming flight details, vehicle types and pickup locations.

We designed and developed a custom WordPress case study that positions Island Travel as the go-to transfer service in Zakynthos from the first scroll. The landing page opens with a clear transfer-type selector that lets visitors choose between private airport transfers, shared shuttles, executive transport, group minibuses and wedding-day logistics without hunting through menus. Each route is priced transparently, with vehicle capacity and luggage allowance visible up front, so travelers booking Zakynthos airport transfers know exactly what they are reserving.

Behind the form, we integrated a real-time flight monitoring system so drivers in Zakynthos receive automatic updates on delays, early arrivals and gate changes. That removes the back-and-forth phone calls and ensures a driver is waiting even when flights do not land on schedule. We also built multilingual support into the core experience, covering English, Greek, Italian and French, matching the languages the island's visitor base actually speaks. On the technical side, the site runs on a lightweight custom WordPress theme, with a Vue.js booking component handling the transfer selector, WooCommerce powering secure online payments, and a custom dashboard syncing bookings, driver assignments and flight data.

The result is a booking experience that gets travelers from "I need a ride" to a confirmed transfer in a few clicks, backed by secure payments and round-the-clock contact options. Since launch, Island Travel has cut manual booking admin, reduced missed pickups across Zakynthos and increased direct reservations from search traffic. The page now ranks for high-intent terms like "Zakynthos airport transfer," "private transfer Zakynthos" and "Zakynthos wedding transport," bringing the business qualified leads without relying solely on third-party booking platforms.
