Kartsakles Office — Architecture & Urban Strategy

A portfolio site for an architecture and urban-strategy studio, built to present projects and branding work with editorial polish.

Kartsakles Office — Architecture & Urban Strategy

Kartsakles Office is an architecture and strategy practice rooted in Agrinio, in the heart of Western Greece. Their work stretches across building design, urban development strategy, and branding — including high-profile city identity projects such as the Patras city logotype and the Cape Lefkata lighthouse. The brief was to build a digital presence that matched the precision and ambition of their built and conceptual work, while making it easy for international collaborators, public-sector partners, and potential clients in Agrinio, Patras, and beyond to understand what they do and how to engage them.

We designed and developed a bilingual Greek/English portfolio website structured around two clear lanes: built projects and conceptual projects. Each project page was built as a clean, image-led case study, letting architectural photography, renderings, drawings, and diagrams carry the visual weight. Rather than overwhelming visitors with dense text, we used restrained typography, generous whitespace, and a modular layout that scales gracefully from large desktop screens to mobile devices — an important consideration for site visitors browsing projects while traveling through Western Greece or reviewing proposals on-site.

Behind the polished front end, we implemented a flexible content management system that allows the Kartsakles team to publish new work, update project metadata, and manage the Greek and English versions of every page without duplicating effort. We also built a dedicated blog section for design commentary, cultural observations, and studio updates, giving the practice a platform to share thinking around architecture in Greece, urban strategy, and regional identity work. This turned the site from a static portfolio into a living resource that supports both credibility and ongoing discovery through search.

The result is a fast, accessible, and search-friendly website that positions Kartsakles Office as a serious multidisciplinary practice operating from Agrinio across Greece and international markets. Whether someone is searching for an architecture studio in Western Greece, looking up the Patras city identity, or researching the Cape Lefkata lighthouse project, the site connects the work to the people and place behind it — and makes the next step, from inquiry to collaboration, feel effortless.
