Nefeli Kotseli — Mezzo-Soprano Artist Portfolio

Nefeli Kotseli is a Greek mezzo-soprano based in Athens, trained at the National Conservatory of Athens and in Vienna, with leading roles at the Greek National Opera — including Neris in Cherubini's Medea — and performances at venues such as the Wiener Musikverein.

We designed and built her website as a dedicated digital stage for an Athens-based classical artist with an international career. The goal was to move beyond a simple biography page and create a professional presence that casting directors, opera houses, and festival programmers could navigate quickly from any device. The site opens with a strong visual identity, then leads visitors through her repertoire, audio samples, performance history, press coverage, and management contacts without friction.

The build runs on WordPress with a custom theme tailored to the needs of a working opera singer. We structured the content around the people who actually use it: agents looking for a current repertoire list, journalists needing a high-resolution press kit, and presenters in Athens, Vienna, or elsewhere checking recent performances. Repertoire is filterable by composer and genre. Audio clips are embedded directly on the page so visitors can listen without leaving the site. A performance gallery combines photography from the Greek National Opera and other venues with production credits and dates.

Behind the scenes, we paid close attention to speed, mobile performance, and search visibility for an artist working between Athens and international stages. Metadata, structured content, and clean markup help the site appear when programmers search for Greek mezzo-sopranos or Athens-based classical singers. Management contact details and a downloadable CV are placed exactly where a busy visitor expects them. The result is a site that works as hard as Nefeli does — representing her in Athens, across Greece, and on stages abroad.
